The Transition: Day 3 -“THIS KIND” REQUIRES SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Happy Monday Friends,

We have made it to the top of another week that is full of unlimited possibilities in Christ Jesus.

Enter this day with a premeditated praise and smile on your face. It is all about making a choice, so what will you choose today?

Day 2 – Reflection

Human beings have the unique ability to operate at the conscious level. This is in contrast to animals who primarily operate at the responsive level of routine, fight, flight, or freeze. Our consciousness is the unique gift of God because we are made in His image, which means everyday and in every situation we have a choice. It is my prayer for you through the Prayer and Fasting that you will master your consciousness and its connection to the choices that you make. Don’t waste the distinguishing factor that God has given you by devolving to our animal nature of quick reflexes and responses, rather than conscious controlled decision making. More to come on this topic in the coming days.

Day 3 – Preview

In Day 3 we are going to explore more on the topic of Prayer and Fasting. Prayer is just communication with God and Fasting is simply the development of discipline. Today in your time of prayer and meditation just have an open and honest conversation with God– like God is your best friend in the entire world that you cannot wait to speak with and please know that God cannot wait to hear from and speak with you too! It’s that simple. Approach prayer today with joy and excitement and watch it make a monumental difference. Remember God wants not only to hear from you, God wants to speak back!

When you think about fasting, it’s simply something that you decide not to do, but equally important think and meditate on what you will put in its place. Refer to Luke 11:24-26, which we will cover in more detail on Day 40!
