Hypocrisy is saying one thing and doing another. What I learned on the journey is that the real danger of the hypocrisy exposed in our text is that through our duplicitous words and actions we are unleashing condemnation on ourselves unnecessarily. The truth is that God has covered a lot of our sins and faults, but when we act like we have not done the same and worse things that we are condemning others for, we are simply setting ourselves up for our hypocrisy to be judged! And what makes it even worse, is who the text says will do the judging.

DAY 30: A Kingdom Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand
Do you ever feel spiritually and emotionally empty or like you’re having trouble consistently standing firm in the calling of God on your life? Yeah me too, but this is what I received from the Lord to help me, and I pray it does the same for you!
DAY 29: Jesus Has Overcome the Strong Man Satan
Be of good courage and be encouraged because Jesus has already overcome the strong man Satan, which means that victory is certain! As believers, we already know how the story ends. But the truth is that sometimes even though we know how the story ends it is extremely difficult on us while the story is still playing itself out.
DAY 28: The Father’s Gift
Luke 11:1-13 has taught us a lot about prayer. But listen to the final lesson of Jesus, as we are reminded of the disciple’s original request, “Lord teach us to pray.” After laying out the litany of look-a-like blessings of stones, serpents, and scorpions; Jesus concludes by responding, “how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
DAY 27: What Father Among You?
Scripture: Luke 11:13 Key Verse: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Spiritual B3: Today we will dig a little deeper into the nature of look-a-like blessings: stones, serpents (eel), and scorpions. As …
DAY 26: How Much More Will Your Heavenly Father
Thank God that even our earthly fathers and mothers know how to give good gifts, but how much more will our Heavenly Father give to those who ask?
DAY 25: How to Knock and Doors Open
Knock like you belong there and watch the door open. The journey has revealed to me that the difference is in the knock. What I lacked was confidence even though I had seen the evidence. I always felt like I was qualified but unfit to ask, then I made a decision to start doing the things I have shared on this journey and literally watched my life change before my very eyes. Through your prayer and meditation begin asking God to show you the past and equally important present evidence.
DAY 24: How to Seek and Find
Scripture: Luke 11:9,10 Key Verse: “seek, and you will find . . . and he who seeks finds” Luke 11:9; 10 Spiritual B3 What if I told you that your seeking is also an act of resistance! Today is the day to activate your resistance through seeking what you are asking for in prayer. We typically think …
DAY 23: How to Ask and Receive
Documentation beats conversation every day of the week. How can you claim to really be asking for something that you want to receive, if you have not put it on paper? How can you measure your progress if you don’t have a starting line? How can you build your belief without a record of what God has already done?
DAY 22: How to Develop Persistence
Persistence is what makes the difference. Some of the best and worse situations of your life were because of persistence. You persistently got it right or your persistently got it wrong, but your outcome was the result of your persistence.
