Introduction and What to Expect:
Welcome to this 40 Day Challenge of prayer and fasting! I am humbled that you have decided to take this journey with me. This journey grows out of my own lived experiences and testimony of how prayer continues to make the difference in my life. This 40 Day Challenge is designed for anyone and everyone who may be dealing with anxiety and feels like something different is going on right now in their life and in the world. I have discovered that different times demand different responses. Are you ready for the challenge?
The Challenge: Actually, take a lunch break. Use your lunch break to disconnect from distractions and reconnect with God through prayer and fasting. If you can’t do your lunch break, set aside time and guard that time to reconnect with God at a deeper level.
Prayer Challenge: Have a conversation with God and tell Him everything on your heart and mind, while being open for God to speak back through His Word, prayer, meditation, and reflection.
Fast Challenge: Disconnect from all distractions during your set aside time with God, which can include, but is not limited to, fasting from eating and drinking during that time, social media, television, emails, negative thoughts and energy.
To help guide us through the challenge, each day you will receive an email with the 3T Bible Scripture and Daily Devotional, which includes:
- A Spiritual B3: Inspirational Theme, Topic, and Thought
- A CPR Kit for the Soul: Centering Theme, Prayer Topic, and Reflection Thought
- A T3 Prayer Boost: Prayer Theme, Topic, and Thought
By the end of the 40 day journey, it is my hope and prayer that this has been a time of growth and rediscovery through revelation, miracles, signs and wonders from God!
See you on the journey,
Rev. Reginald L Bachus
Changes are taking place for the our daily lives for closer walk with our Lord. I am praying I am able to hold on to his hand and don’t let go when that demon of fear attack me because of lack of trust the vessels and instruments the Lord sends to assist me. I am trying to hold on.
