Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
I pray this message finds you all. well and in a spirit of expectation!
Congratulations on making it to Day 4 and the end of Step 1: The Choice of Transition
It all started with a choice, and the good news, rather the great news, is that when you make a choice for God– God is faithful and rewards that choice. I pray that in this short time that we have been on the journey together you are already seeing the sprouts of victory!
Day 3 – Reflection
Proverbs 24:6 tells us that a righteous person can fall seven times and get back up again. I want to encourage you to keep the faith, that’s really what righteousness is– faithfulness. Keep praying and keep fasting, if your falter or fall, just get back up again and keep going. You have to want this enough to keep trying every single day. I believe we make God smile every time we make up our mind I’m going to keep praying, keep going, and keep moving forward. Pray with confidence knowing that God is not only listening but responding! Don’t forget that fasting is just as much about what you start doing as it is about what you start doing.
Day 4 – “You’ve got allies in the crowd!”
In my own time of 40 Days, this lesson came sweeping in like a flood and brought tears to my eyes as God began to show me that we are never alone. The enemy tries to make you think you are isolated and going through this alone, but that is simply not true. Not only is God with you, but be encouraged that God has assigned allies in the crowd. But also be aware that just as their are allies in the crowd there are enemies in the crowd. In our passage remember that Jesus stumbled upon the disciples in a heated argument with His enemies. Keep in mind that they don’t hate you simply because of you, it’s the God in you that they can’t stand! Enjoy today’s message.
